Stars

A symbol, romantic and laden with power,
of unknown, eternal, the promising hours,
and even explained it still instills wonder,
when its gravity, particles, pushing asunder.

Caught in the wake of its mass and rotation,
and energy met out by its radiation,
the objects around it fall into cycles,
parabolas marking its closest disciples.
