A deep blue powder, is packed in a cup
a laborious fruit from sunnier planes.
It grew on the fields as a flowering shrub,
and turned into peas of greenish pale.

Deep indigo dyes, now abundantly common
once was this peaflower's treasure alone.
2,3-dihydro-3oxoindlyliden
lets anil be more than indigo aniline.
