Melodrama

Never is a thing ever small enough,
someone will always feel it's the last
straw they can take, and go storming off.
And even though they recuperate fast,
the minor infractions,
the blown out reactions,
linger for long and when they resurface,
fan the argument's furnace,
Animosities flare up and then
The fighting and squabbling starts over again.
